Cali Meetup Waiver

Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk

  • I acknowledge that participation in calisthenics involves physical exertion and inherent risks, including, but not limited to, injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, or other physical harm. I understand and accept these risks voluntarily. I recognize that this is a self-directed, non-instructor-led training session, and I am responsible for my own actions and decisions during the event.

 

Nature of the Event

  • I understand that the Calibar Meetup is a community-driven event intended for individuals to train, connect, and have fun together. No formal instruction, supervision, or coaching is provided by Calibar staff during these sessions.

 

Medical Responsibility

  • I affirm that I am physically fit to participate and have either consulted a physician or chosen to participate without such consultation at my own risk. I do not have any conditions or limitations that would prevent my safe participation in physical activity.

 

Personal Responsibility

  • I take full responsibility for managing my safety and physical limits during this meetup. I agree to immediately cease participation and inform others if I experience pain, discomfort, or injury during the session.

 

Release of Liability

  • In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Calibar Fitness, its owners, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims or liabilities for injuries, losses, or damages, including those caused by the ordinary negligence of the released parties. This release applies to any claims arising from participation in the meetup or use of Calibar premises and equipment.

 

Photo & Video Release

  • I grant Calibar Fitness permission to use any photographs or videos taken of me during the event for marketing and promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and print materials.

 

Ongoing Validity

  • I agree that this waiver remains valid for all future Calibar Fitness meetups unless I revoke it in writing.
